Today: Boatlife Live hosts free sustainability webinar

BoatLife Live, which takes place 17-20 February 2022 at Birmingham’s NEC, is hosting a series of free sustainability webinars in the run-up to the show.

The next webinar in the series takes place on Thursday, 25 November, at 11.30am (GMT). Host Alexis Eyre, sustainable marketing consultant and founder of Green Eyre, will explain the fundamentals of sustainability in business, including what ‘carbon net-zero’ really means. Eyre also offers practical advice on the opportunities associated with sustainability and the risks for business owners who do not embrace it.

Readers can sign up to the webinar and find further details on what’s coming up online.

BoatLife says it is committed to using the show as an “opportunity to promote boating best practices and support charities that are making a positive impact on the environment and sustainability.”

In October, BoatLife revealed Project Seagrass as its official charity partner. BoatLife is working with Project Seagrass to raise funding for its work conserving the UK’s vital seagrass meadows. Representatives from the charity will discuss the organisation’s work on the Live Stage at the BoatLife event in February 2022.

“The team and I are passionate about making a difference and pushing every part of the show to make a positive impact,” says Richard Dove, BoatLife director. “Teaming up with Project Seagrass is an exciting step for us.”
