British Marine comments on the sale of Oyster Yachts

British Marine’s Chief Executive Officer, Howard Pridding, responds to the sale of the assets and business of Oyster Marine Limited, and the assets of Oyster Marine Holdings Limited:

“This is excellent news for Oyster Yachts, employment in Southampton and Wroxham, and the UK marine industry as a whole. The fact that this sale has secured Oyster’s manufacturing presence in the UK and the new owner has set out a clear vision that will hopefully see the company secure this iconic British brand and its future in the global marine sector, is very welcome indeed.

“I hope that British Marine will be able to play a part in supporting the new management team at Oyster Yachts as it moves into an exciting new chapter.”
