Croatian marine sector seeks UK businesses looking to expand

After previous successful exhibitions in France, the Czech Republic and The Netherlands, the Croatian National Tourist Board is bringing its tried and tested formula for forging international maritime partnerships to the UK.

Over 15 Croatian businesses will be in London on Thursday 26th March to showcase the opportunities they have on offer to work with UK companies. And the cruise, charter and more companies are looking to expand their networks.

“Croatia’s popularity has grown year on year as a sailing destination for tourists,” says Darija Reic, Croatian National Tourist Board Director. “The numbers coming from across the world to experience the beautiful Mediterranean grow around six percent per year. Which means there are many opportunities for businesses to develop together.”

In order to service this booming trend, Croatian sailing fleets and flotilla holiday providers are looking to meet new suppliers and forge collaborations.

“Our Croatian businesses are interested in meeting everyone from tour operators offering a sailing element in their portfolio, charter agencies, equipment manufacturers, yacht brokers, sailings schools, regatta organisers, and any other British marine businesses who seek opportunities abroad,” says Darija.

The event is designed to create a platform for UK and Croatian maritime sectors to make better relationships and find potential partnerships or collaborations. It begins with a brief overview of Croatia’s opportunities including new trends, the sailing holiday market, current infrastructure, marina networks and agencies, with a remit to assist business development.

Those wishing to attend need to register in advance by emailing darija@croatia-london.co.uk. Attendance is free.
