Earn double commission in March as an RYA Joining Point

????????????????????????????????????

Throughout March if your club, training centre or marine organisation is signed up to the RYA Joining Point programme you’ll earn double the commission for every new RYA member you sign up.

Registered Joining Points will receive double the standard commission values of the scheme for the whole of March, receiving £20 commission for every family membership or £15 for every personal membership they sign up.  The commission earned can then be fed back in to the organisation.

“The Joining Point programme is a real win for everyone involved. The Joining Points earn valuable commission, in 2018 the top performing Joining Point earnt over £1,600 in commission for their organisation, new members get to enjoy the benefits of being a member, and the RYA sees its membership numbers grow,” explained RYA Membership Operations Officer, Gemma Garrett.

“Growth of our membership is vital in supporting the work we do in ensuring legislators, regulators and other authorities understand and take account of recreational boating activity.  Membership funds are also reinvested in to the organisation to help with participation, cruising and government affairs, and performance activities,” Gemma added.

The Joining Point scheme provides a quick and easy way for those organisations registered as RYA Joining Points to spread the word about RYA membership and encourage their members and customers to join the association.

As well as supporting their lobbying activities there are many other great benefits of RYA membership, including access to specialist cruising, legal and technical boating advice from in-house experts, exclusive offers and discounts from over 80 member reward partners, helping members keep down the cost of their boating, as well as all the latest news and information.

Existing RYA Joining Points don’t need to do anything to register for this offer, the double commission will automatically be applied to their account in the April payment run. All they need to do is tell their customers about the benefits of RYA membership and get them to sign up – it’s that simple.

Existing Joining Points requiring more promotional materials should email joiningpoint@rya.org.uk quoting their Joining Point reference number or the name of their club or organisation to receive further membership forms.

Each Joining Point pack provides the club or centre with the possibly of earning up to £1,000 in commission, and up to £2,000 during the October special promotion depending upon the number of members signed up. Commission is paid on a quarterly basis and the amount depends upon the type of membership signed up to.

If you’re not already an RYA Joining Point, signing up is completely free and easy to do, simply email joiningpoint@rya.org.uk to get started.

Potential members can now also join the RYA through Joining Point Online. To take advantage of the new online system all customers need to do is visit www.rya.org.uk/go/join select Joining Point as the reason for joining and input the Joining Point code for their referring club, training centre or marine organisation. Commission is applied in the same way.

Of course, new members can still sign up by calling 023 80 60 4159 and quoting the relevant Joining Point number or by completing a membership form prefilled with a Joining Point code available from the referring Joining Point.

“We have been working hard to make earning commission as easy as possible for our Joining Points. Adding online joining enables potential members to choose how they join and join instantly when they are at your venue or out and about,” Gemma concluded.

March’s double commission offer closes at midnight on 31 March 2019. Double commission will be paid on all applications received by the closing deadline.
