Final call for Portsmouth Harbour Marine skills survey

Marine businesses in the Portsmouth, Gosport and Fareham areas are being urged to complete the Portsmouth Harbour Marine skills survey by 5:00pm Friday 27th March 2020.

They’re being asked to complete the survey as if trading conditions were normal so that PHM can understand the local skills, training and employment needs, and requirements both now and for the coming years.

The results will be used to work with local colleges and educational establishments in the future to develop courses that address the local skills gaps in order to prepare both the current and next generation for work in the local marine sector.

Portsmouth City Council’s research and engagement team is conducting this research on behalf of Portsmouth Harbour Marine. All data collected will be made anonymous and stored in line with Portsmouth City Council’s data protection policy notice. The data will not be shared with any third parties.

The survey is online.
