Get Afloat and challenge your family and friends on an all-new assault course like no other

At this year’s TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show visitors will be able to slalom, turn and paddle their way to the top of the leaderboard on our brand new, purpose-built on-water assault course.

The Assault Course, in association with Heart, forms part of the Show’s ever popular Get Afloat feature run by the expert team at Rockley Watersports. In keeping with all the other activities run on the attraction, including dinghy sailing, bell boating for the first time and Stand Up Paddleboarding, it offers FREE fun for all the family with a minimum age of six for anyone competing*.

The course features obstacles including slalom, 360° turn, backwards paddle and figure of eight and visitors can either choose to kayak as a pair or go it alone on a paddleboard.

Two sessions will run daily at 11:30 and 15:30 throughout the Show for anyone looking to show off their skills, try their luck against the clock and get their name to the top of the leaderboard. Each session will incorporate a briefing, some practice and techniques coaching on setting a good time and a timed run.

The lucky person or pair with the fastest time throughout out the 10 days will win an inflatable kayak to be delivered to their door after the Show closes in late September. The top three will get the prize of a Crewsaver drybag, a multi-purpose bag ideal for carrying watersports gear, and the top 10 on the leaderboard at the end of the 10 days will win a pair of tickets to next year’s Show.

Visitors can book their slot on the Assault Course, in association with Heart, on the day by visiting the Get Afloat Booking stand E049A.
