Meet the Buyer returns to BM Expo for 2020
Meet the Buyer is to return for its 20th year at the upcoming British Marine Spring Expo 2020 on 4 February at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton.
Taking place in less than three weeks’ time, this annual event offers UK suppliers of marine products and services a unique opportunity to network with a range of buyers from globally renowned boatbuilders.
Confirmed buyers include:
- Spirit Yachts – a leader in modern classic yacht design and build with a portfolio of wooden sail and power yachts ranging from day sailors to superyachts
- Discovery Yachts Group – builders of bespoke bluewater cruising yachts designed to take two or more people around the world
- Dale Motor Yachts – a bespoke, hand-crafted motorboat manufacturer based in Pembrokershire, Wales
- Orkney Boats – a UK manufacturer of sea angling, commercial and leisure craft with over 40 years of experience
With limited spaces available, British Marine is now taking bookings from companies wanting to attend as suppliers based on a first come, first serve basis. Spaces start from just £100 for British Marine members and £150 for non-members*.
Last year’s Meet the Buyer saw 22 British suppliers secure their share of £1.5m+ worth of forecasted deals with buyers at the event.
A hub for business relationships and networking, the event also saves suppliers valuable time and travel expenses with all the buyers gathered under one roof for one day.
As well as Meet the Buyer, the Expo offers a packed two-day schedule of key industry talks and seminars set against a backdrop of learning, networking and business deals being done. It will include a host of new free BM Talks delivering the latest training skills, industry insights from leading experts and thought-provoking discussions surrounding the biggest challenges facing our industry today, as well as a free Trade Connections Area. It will also feature the popular, ticketed Superyacht UK Technical Seminar.
