Miss Isle going for a transatlantic crossing

Natasha Lambert, not one to be complacent and rest on her laurels, has decided to undertake a transatlantic crossing, which would make her the first person to undertake crossing the Atlantic Ocean by breath control.

Natasha has athertoid cerebral palsy which means movement is difficult for her. She says: “I have always loved the outdoors and love adventure, I have lots of ideas and from 9 I started sailing, it has developed a lot over the years with my Dad adapting boats for me and designing a unique system that I control a 6.5m boat my self, both helm and sail trim.My boat is a Mini Transat Zero called Miss Isle and I sail it by a sip-puff system, that means I suck or blow down a single tube to control the whole boat. I have a great team around me to support me and take part in my adventures!”

Her plans includes other record-breaking milestones on her way to the ultimate goal of crossing the ocean.
