New boat show from British Marine

The first attraction from the Inland Waterways Boating & Watersports Holiday Show 2018 will recreate UK inland waterways and highlight overseas and UK holidays.

Already committed for the 2018 show are Richardson’s and, under the British Marine Inland Boating banner, Fox Boats, Kris Cruisers, Napton Narrowboats and ABC Boat Hire.

Visitors will be able to climb aboard narrowboats to explore the ultimate in sleek design, speak with friendly experts about the best locations and ideal boats to suit their needs, or ponder their next cruising holiday as they relax in the show’s very own pub, The Lock Keeper’s Inn.

With specialist advice and live experiences on tap, British Marine says visitors can be sure to get in the holiday spirit and make memories with family and friends at this new show.

The industry has tried run inland waterway shows in the past, but they’ve never been too successful. Having a five day show might help this new show, but I’ve already had comments from the industry suggesting the show will be five days, but cost the usual ten day price to exhibit. Hmmm…

It’s the first concept to be revealed, with plenty more attractions being developed for all three shows taking place next January – the Boating & Watersports Holiday Show, the London Boat Show and a brand new third show to be announced very soon.

Running from Wednesday January 10 until Sunday January 14, the now five-day London Boat Show will offer something for everyone.
