New Kona 5mm wetsuit from Typhoon

Typhoon International has launched its new Kona 5mm wetsuit, designed to offer superior protection for waterborne professionals and amateurs in the water during the cold winter and spring months.

The Kona 5mm is available in a choice of OFZ (overhead front zip) and Back Zip Entry, both of which offer a quick and easy option to get in and out of your wetsuit. The OFZ system gives complete flexibility in the back panel, allowing the wearer to minimise restriction while maximising performance. The Back Zip Entry version, meanwhile, allows for increased freedom of arm and shoulder movement.

The Kona features new fabric technology which has enabled Typhoon to make some significant updates to the company’s tried and tested designs. A ‘liquid seal seam’ system complements the brushed fleece thermal liner which provides enhanced protection against the elements, while the GlideSkin neck seal and an ergonomic design together ensure maximum comfort and fit.

The Kona is available in a full range of sizes in both men’s and women’s fits. It is suitable for all water activities from surfing, to stand up paddle boarding, dinghy sailing and kayaking, or simply messing about in the water. The price for both the Kona 5mm OFZ and Kona 5mm back entry is £239.95 incl VAT.
