Oceanair appoints new Synergy Manager

British Marine member, Oceanair, has appointed Sophie Giffard as its new Synergy Manager. This is a newly created role this year to support Oceanair and Dometic’s growing relationship and forge strong ties between the two companies. Oceanair became part of the Dometic Group earlier this year.

Sophie, who previously worked in an international sales role within Oceanair, will be focused predominantly on the role of Oceanair in the RV market, which has been going from strength to strength since Oceanair expanded to offer its range of products to RV customers.

The role of Synergy Manager has the main aim of promoting Oceanair through the Dometic sales channels to its extensive customer base of luxury RV manufacturers. Sophie’s role is to oversee the joint Dometic-Oceanair RV potential and to assist the Dometic sales team in promoting the Oceanair range to their customers.

Sophie will also be working with the after-market teams to ensure Oceanair is present at a retail level for relevant products, in the Dometic catalogue and on the website.

Additionally, the Synergy Manager role exists to help the integration between the two organisations and there will be other projects that Sophie will be working on linking product development with business potential.
