The next International Marine Networking takes place 4 May 2021, at 14:00 BST. Registration is now open for this free to attend event.
Ben Taylor, the organiser, is continuing to grow the opportunity for the international marine industry to network online in a 90-minute monthly event on the first Tuesday of each month. It’s sponsored by MIN and is proving popular.
“Remote operations have restricted the amount of new people you can meet. New networking groups encourage new conversations. It’s good for the industry to get back out there again,” says Gill Rodrigues, director at Cayo Alliance.
“When launching this I hoped it’d connect a few people, maybe some would gain insights and meet people they could do business with,” says Taylor.
“With the comments I’ve received personally as well as the support shown through testimonials, this opportunity to connect with others internationally may well be that small contribution I can make to help make a big difference in supporting the industry we all love.”
April’s event saw a total of 92 marine industry leaders come together.
Marine Industry News and Soundings Trade Only now support the monthly event, although Taylor is keen to stress that there are multiple opportunities for commercial sponsorship.
