Restart Sailing calls for task group members

A new group which has gained momentum over the last two weeks to #restartsailing is looking for members for task groups.

Established to see a return to the water when safe and appropriate, the group notes that there is a considerable amount of work to get sailing back and racing resumed safely.

While there are plenty of good materials emerging and enthusiasm from numerous sources to make things happen, nine Focus Task Groups have been established. These are to understand the impact of COVID-19 on various areas relevant to a sailing club’s operation of racing. The groups will produce specific material and activities that can be tailored to each club’s needs.

Restart Sailing’s looking for members to join the following task groups:

• Safety
• Race Management
• Technology
• Communications
• Media
• Government and regulation
• Disciplines and classes
• Trade
