Rim Drive Technology appoints Marineworks for Polish distribution

Marineworks has entered into a distribution agreement with Rim Drive Technology to become its official distributor for the Polish market.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, Rim Drive Technology specialises in advanced electric propulsion systems designed around rim-driven technology.
These systems are characterised by their silent operation, low maintenance requirements, and eco-friendly performance, which the company says makes them a preferred solution for both commercial and leisure marine applications seeking sustainable alternatives to traditional propulsion.
Marineworks says the partnership marks a significant step toward expanding access to clean marine propulsion in Poland.
With growing demand for electric and hybrid solutions across the maritime sector, this collaboration is expected to support the adoption of environmentally responsible technologies in a range of applications including yachts, workboats, and research vessels.
An initial introduction of RIM Drive Technology product line took place during the recent Polboat Yachting Festival, where Marineworks presented the brand to the Polish boating community. The positive response from industry professionals and boatbuilders affirmed the market’s readiness for high-quality, next-generation electric propulsion solutions.
Earlier this year, Marineworks strengthened its relationship with Volvo Penta as it established a direct distribution model for propulsion solutions to shipyards and boatbuilders across Poland.
