Seawork to be rescheduled
Seawork organiser, Mercator Media, has announced that it has been forced to postpone Seawork and its co-located exhibition the Marine and Coastal Civil Engineering Expo (M&CCE Expo), due to be held from 9 – 11 June and Speed@Seawork, due to be held on 8 June.
The decision has been made in light of the prevailing global conditions, and the Government’s most recent advice to stop non-essential contact with other people and avoid all unnecessary travel.
In a statement online Mercator Media says: “We are aware that the events are vital business tools in the commercial marine industry and regret that we have had to take this decision. we are doing all we can to ensure the events can take place in 2020. Our experienced team can react swiftly to developing events to enable us to continue to produce the exhibition when it is possible and prudent to do so.”
New dates for Seawork are yet to be confirmed and a further update is expected on Friday 27th March 2020.
