Still zero points for Ineos Team UK

Day two of the PRADA ACWS Auckland has concluded and Ineos Team UK is yet to get any points on the score board. New York Yacht Club American Magic and Emirates Team New Zealand are tied (three wins and one loss) and Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli follows in third position with two wins and two losses, leaving  Ineos Team UK in fourth.

But things could be looking up for the British team, as Skipper Sir Ben Ainslie says they’re “getting more and more confident, understanding the boat, what you can get away with.

“Not sure all the issues are sorted, but certainly our control of the boat was much better, and with the foil cant system working really well, the guys did a really good job sailing the boat.”

Races will resume tomorrow for the last day of PRADA ACWS Auckland ahead of the PRADA Christmas Race starting on Sunday the 20^th of December.
