The 48 Wallytender makes its US debut

Porto Cervo (ITA, Sardinia), Wallytender 48

The all-new 48 Wallytender will make its American debut at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) from 30th October to 3rd November.

The 48 Wallytender offers fold-down bulwark sections to increase the swim platform and has a retractable passerelle that doubles as a swim ladder, while the on-deck aft seating can be reconfigured.

A special anchoring system is hidden behind a flush-fitting hatch in the bow and can be operated at the touch of a button from the helm station. The wraparound fender provides a practical docking solution instead of bulky fenders.

The standard propulsion package comprises the twin Volvo IPS 650 engines (totalling 960hp) for a top speed of 38 knots and is equipped with user-friendly joystick controls for easy docking.

“This is set to be a landmark year for Wally at FLIBS; not only do we have a fantastic new model which makes its debut at the show, but being part of Ferretti Group means that Wally can now offer an even better buying experience to those in the region,” comments Luca Bassani, Wally Founder.

“Ferretti Group is particularly excited to present this remarkable day cruiser, as this is the first edition of the show since it acquired the Wally brand. With so many features on the 48 Wallytender – such as the flexible seating layout and extending swim platform – we are sure it is going to be a hit,” says Stefano de Vivo, Managing Director of Wally.
