The Whiskey Project Group opens US manufacturing site
The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG) has opened a new manufacturing facility in Edenton, North Carolina, to serve as the company’s primary base for building and delivering its NAiAD commercial vessel range across the Americas.
The facility enables the production and delivery of NAiAD’s Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIBs) for commercial and governmental clients throughout North and South America.
The NAiAD brand vessels are designed for use in demanding marine conditions, and they are used for search and rescue, law enforcement and commercial operations worldwide.

“Establishing our manufacturing presence in Edenton, NC, is a pivotal moment for The Whiskey Project Group,” says Darren Schuback, the firm’s chief executive. “This is more than just a new facility; it’s a commitment to our American customers and partners. We are bringing our proven expertise and a legacy of building the world’s most capable watercraft directly to the US market, with the ability to offer build slots now to meet the growing demand for our vessels.”
The new site builds on TWPG’s existing manufacturing facilities in Australia and New Zealand. In a media statement, the company says that the expansion will create skilled jobs in the region, and will draw on North Carolina’s maritime heritage.

The NAiAD commercial vessel range includes the Watchtower Class, Shadow Class and custom tourism platforms, which are now available for order from the Edenton site.
