Torqeedo signs as lead sponsor for Blue Innovation Dock at boot Düsseldorf

The exhibitors present their interesting innovations, attractive new developments and maritime equipment. The nine-day fair with 220,000 square meters in 17 different halls will host the international market and offer an exciting insight into the entire world of water sports.

Electric propulsion specialist, Torqeedo has signed as the main sponsor of the new Blue Innovation Dock (BID) at boot Düsseldorf. 

“We’re thrilled to support the Blue Innovation Dock organised by the European Boating Industry,” says Oliver Glück, vice president marketing for Torqeedo.  “Forums like the BID serve as a platform to focus on sustainable solutions, promote innovations and new technologies, and bring visionaries, investors, industry leaders and politicians together to define a sustainable future for the marine industry.”

The BlD will host presentations on electric and hybrid drives, alternative fuels, environmentally friendly manufacturing and materials, the marina of the future and tech talks by experts in the field, as well as provide a B2B lounge where in-depth stakeholder discussions can take place.

Part of the DEUTZ Group, Torqeedo was founded in Starnberg in 2005, The company develops and manufactures electric, and hybrid drives from 0.5 to 100 kW for commercial applications and recreational use.
