WesCom Signal and Rescue launches green initiative at METSTRADE

WesCom will be launching its green initiative – WesCom’s Environmental Impact Charter – at METS, highlighting the need for companies to operate in more environmentally responsible ways. Bianca Jayne-Carr, founder of The Final Straw Solent – a community motivated to take action on the damaging impacts of plastic pollution – has partnered with WesCom to consult and guide the company. Bianca will be on the Stand 03.125 to discuss WesCom’s new initiative on Tuesday 19th November.

Chris Feibusch, Director of Global Marketing and Communications at WesCom Signal and Rescue, says: “We are honoured to have Bianca joining us on our stand to share our green initiative aims. WesCom Signal and Rescue has been dedicated to marine safety for over 100 years and we understand the importance of taking further steps towards environmental responsibility and protecting marine life.”

WesCom will also be showcasing its range of marine safety products along with training videos and animations. These assets are being utilised by various maritime training establishments, including the RNLI, United Kingdom Ministry of Defence and the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution, which help to save lives through teaching handlers how to correctly use these products, via a globally accessible digital platform.
