YAM aluminium hull inflatable range

Introducing

Known for the superior quality of its engines, Yamaha is at the forefront of marine innovation. Using its many years of experience developing products specifically for the marine market, Yamaha has designed and manufactured a range of aluminium rigid hull inflatable boats, offering a modern look and a wide range of features to enhance the on-water experience.

Overview

Yamaha’s range of aluminium inflatable boats comprises three models: the YAM 350TAf, 310TAf and 270TAf.

The inflatables’ aluminium hulls mean they are incredibly lightweight, and therefore require less horsepower to drive them through the water, resulting in a more efficient engine and boat combination, reducing the cost of ownership throughout the life of the vessel.

The powder coated aluminium hulls also offer an advantageous rigidity, allowing the operator to confidently handle their boat in choppier waters and enjoy supreme manoeuvrability.

All the aluminium hull YAMs are available with a range of Yamaha outboards and a selection of seating configurations. An optional bench seat and console is available on all three models.

While the bench seat offers comfortable seating and storage beneath, the console gives added protection and the option for a remote throttle and additional navigation electronics as required.

Performance Data

The 350TAf is 350cm length overall and has a beam of 160cm. The bareboat weight is 72kg with a capacity for four adults plus one child. Engine options include the powerful Yamaha 25hp.

Weighing 60kg, the 310TAf incorporates a bow locker and can be fitted with a range of engines including the latest Yamaha 20hp featuring battery-less EFI.

The 270TAf is the most compact boat in the range and performs well with both the Yamaha 8hp and 6hp. This boat is 265cm (total length) and has a 159cm beam. The bareboat weight is 41.5kg, making it easy to handle out of the water. It offers a three adult, one child capacity.

For maximum strength, all the YAM aluminium hull inflatables are constructed using the latest generation PVC material, with most seams and joints thermo-welded for optimum water tightness and safety. This results in a clean exterior surface that is highly resistant to abrasion, salt water and sunlight.

A cleverly designed air baffle system is incorporated into the hull tubes, helping to keep the individual chambers completely sealed for safety. It also ensures air pressure is maintained equally throughout the tube and allows the inflatables to absorb minor impacts without difficulty.

Used For
