Peta Stuart-Hunt’s swansong
My swansong (as it turns out) was being invited to fire the first (warning) gun of the day at the RYS on race day 1st July 2017. Tickled pink to get one over on Trump and have my finger on the red button!
“After seven interesting and challenging years, my consultancy role for the Island SC/Round the Island Race has ceased with immediate effect.
“Many reasons have led me to taking the decision not to renew the current agreement with the ISC. My contribution to the race marketing and PR has been pretty much all-consuming for a long time and it’s the right time for me to make that change.
“I’m still working with the Royal Southern YC as their Marketing & Media consultant, and as Communications Manager for the Andrew Simpson Foundation and will working with them in the immediate future as the official charity for Lendy Cowes Week and then there’s Bart’s Bash in mid-September.
“After that, who knows, and I will be actively seeking new challenges and projects.
“I’m always open to discussing fresh ideas and new opportunities, so do please stay in touch.”
