Footage has emerged of the dramatic moment a truck falls onto the main deck of car carrier Zambales.
informativo_maritimo says that “inside the trunk of the truck was a tank truck heavier than the truck carrying it,” and makes the assumption that “soon there was a centre of high gravity, and probably didn’t measure the slings taking into account the entire weight of the two trucks”.
Salvage and Wreck says the accident happened a few weeks ago. During the offloading operation, while lifting the equipment, two backward slings broke, causing the truck to fall.
