New weatherproof bag range from Ronstan

Known for its sailboat hardware, Melbourne-based Ronstan has introduced a new range of weatherproof gear bags, designed for sailors and active outdoor enthusiasts.

Taking advantage of the latest in thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) coated waterproof material with a fully welded leak-proof construction, Ronstan have produced a bag which it says is lighter, yet extremely durable. There are four bags in Ronstan’s new range, suitable for a range of activities including sailing, kite surfing, SUP’ing and cycling.

Roll-Top Backpacks

Two sizes of backpack are available. Each feature a large, waterproof main compartment with a roll-top side mount closure to keep the water out. Both models include large quick access front pockets with water-resistant zippers. The larger model has a 55-litre capacity and the smaller a 30-litre capacity. The smaller backpack also features a neoprene sleeve inside the main compartment to protect a tablet or notebook. Both feature a fully padded harness with adjustable chest strap for comfort.

Roll-Top Crew Bag

The crew bag is large enough to carry full sailing kit with its 55-litre capacity. It features a water-resistant zipper to the main compartment with the addition of a roll-top for a watertight seal. There are also two quick access pockets on the outside of the bag with water-resistant zippers, two padded carry handles and a removable padded shoulder strap.

10L Roll-Top Grab Bag

The smallest in the range is the 10-litre carry-all grab bag. It features a clear window so you can see what is inside as well as a removable shoulder strap.
