British Marine Isle of Wight’s ‘Fun On The Water’ event

British Marine Isle of Wight is delivering ‘Fun On The Water’ for all the family at Cowes Yacht Haven, Saturday 12& Sunday 13 May 2018, 10am – 4pm.

Entry is free and there will be a host of activities to try out, including:
• Paddle boarding
• Dinghy & Yacht Sailing
• Jet Skis
• Kayaking
• RIB rides
• Windsurfing

There will be demonstrations* too, including:

• Jet Pack demo
• Man Overboard retrieval
• RNLI events
• A Coast Guard helicopter fly past
• Try your hand at paper yacht racing
*Dependant on operational requirements & weather permitting.

The packed two- day event will give visitors the opportunity to:

• Learn how to sail – understand the water
• Meet with respected Island boat builders
• Obtain expert advice on how to buy and maintain a boat
• Find out what National Coastwatch Institute, The Coastguard & The Maritime Volunteer Service do
• Learn about the great job opportunities in the marine sector, including case study talks
