Able2 acquires Isagi with plans for European expansion

Family firm Isagi has been acquired by Able2 in a deal aimed at helping its StayPut brand of non-slip materials increase its presence in Europe.

The StayPut material is used by leisure craft upholsterers, superyachts and trawlers to stop items moving and slipping.

Able 2, a customer of Isagi, has sold the non-slip materials for several years and is looking to expand the StayPut range through its sister companies in Holland and Spain. Nauticalia will remain as the marine wholesaler for chandlers in the UK.

Andrew Guilbert, Isagi MD, began his career in the marine industry helping Jaguar yachts at the London Boat Show when it was held at Earls Court.
