Jean Francois Lair of Beneteau comments on the re-vamped Show: “We welcome the changes British Marine Boat Shows has made to the London Boat Show with much enthusiasm and we are eager to see the results they will deliver to this important UK boat show. Since our return in 2015, the London Boat Show has remained a fundamental platform for Beneteau’s brand exposure in the UK, as well as a valuable event to make sales and meet potential new business. We are confident about the future success of the London Boat Show for years to come and we will be investing in 2018’s Show with a strong Beneteau representation.”

Chris Manners of Sealine adds: “We are delighted to see the London Boat Show plans for 2018. The London Boat Show is a key event in the calendar of events we exhibit at around the world and moving it away from the Christmas period offers our team valuable time to prepare for the Show and the show season ahead.”

Bob Stockley of ICOM says: “British Marine Boat Shows face a tough challenge each year with such a large event. Things evolve and exhibitions are no different,  ICOM are pleased to be part of the London Boat Show and its future. Even though the Show will now run over fewer days we are both optimistic and sure that similar numbers of visitors will come along over a shorter period resulting in busier days for us all across the event.”

Miles Moorhouse of Fairline Yachts comments: “Short shows that encompass only one weekend are certainly not unique. Cannes, Miami and Fort Lauderdale Boat Shows are all big shows that run for only six days each. The addition of boating-related Shows running concurrently is a positive as there will be a cross-pollination of visitors to the benefit of all. The London Boat Show needed refreshing and I applaud British Marine Boat Shows team for taking onboard the comments of both visitors and exhibitors and launching a significantly revamped and exciting-looking Show to whet the appetite of boaters ahead of the 2018 season.”

Frank Ziehe of Cosmos Yachting, states: “The steps being taken to revamp the London Boat Show are very promising and offers something new and innovative to the market. As long standing exhibitors of the Show, we look forward to taking our position in the Boating & Watersports Holiday Show and hope that this new concept, along with innovative attractions, will draw in loyal visitors as well as attract new audiences to make for five busy days of business for us.”

Rick Reading of Topper International, remarks: “We are thrilled to see the London Boat Show being revamped. The concept of different shows within a Show to attract a range of consumers, from the typical boater to adventurous holidaymakers, is one that we welcome and we hope to meet a lot of new potential customers at the 2018 Show.”

As a reminder, the re-imagined Show is now five days packed with unique attractions and new shows within the Show. The Boating & Watersports Holiday Show has already been announced and the third show will be unveiled next week. New attractions will also be revealed in the coming weeks and there’s lots more being planned.
