Council awarded £77k to make fishing boats ‘safer’
A scheme to keep the crews of fishing boats safer at sea is expanding.
About 250 life jackets with person locator beacons have been given to fishermen to reduce accidents on board.
Plymouth City Council has been awarded £77,000 to help fund the project.
