Ecoworks with Turn The Tide On Plastic

Ecoworks Marine is pleased to announce that an agreement has been signed between Ecoworks Marine and the Volvo Ocean Race team, Turn The Tide On Plastic to supply the team their ‘Preserve The Living Seas’, range of sustainable and marine benign cleaning products.

The Volvo Ocean Race covers the globe with 11 stages, the first of which will be from Alicante to Lisbon commencing on October 22nd 2017 and finishing in The Hague on June 24th 2018. The Turn The Tide On Plastic boat is skippered by the very experienced, single handed, non stop, round the world sailor, Dee Caffari MBE, who has chosen her own team to compete in this world event. Ecoworks Marine will supply all the MARPOL compliant cleaning products for the boat making this the most environmental and marine friendly boat in the race, underlining the team’s guiding mission to amplify the United Nations Environment’s ‘Clean Seas; Turn The Tide On Plastic’ campaign. The team is backed by the Mirpuri Foundation and the Ocean Family Foundation, both of whom are committed to the ‘Clean Seas’ mission.
