Imperial – now Imperial International Yacht Brokers

Imperial Motor Yachts has changed its name to Imperial International Yacht Brokers with immediate effect to better reflect its core business – the sale of new and used motor and sailing yachts. A new website has also been launched (www.imperial-yachtbrokers.com), along with a new corporate image.

The move comes not long after the UK yacht brokerage added the Saffier Yachts range of day sailers to its portfolio. Saffier is a leading Dutch builder of high-end day and weekend sailers, producing around 60 yachts anually.

Imperial has also announced the opening of two more offices – one in Brixham and the other in Portsmouth. This brings the total number of Imperial offices to four, with plans to open another three this year and a further five next year.

“We have worked hard at building the Imperial brand throughout the recessionary period and, with our growing number of offices, our superb ranges of new motor and sailing yachts, all underpinned by our international boat sales, the future for Imperial is looking very positive,” says managing director Michael Miller.

“It seemed a natural progression for us to rebrand to position ourselves more squarely in the market place,” he adds. “Our two new offices are each managed by very experienced sailors with exceptional qualifications, further enhancing an already very strong and widely experienced professional team.”

Imperial will be exhibiting four boats from the Saffier Yachts range at TheYachtMarket.com Southampton Boat Show 2017 in September.
