Italian and Dutch companies to enjoy ‘superyacht cluster matching’

Two countries, Italy and the Netherlands, are set to hold a superyacht clusters matching day. The digital event (22 April 2021) aims to start an exchange between the two countries’ key players about sustainability.

The two clusters of superyacht shipyards and associated supply chains have a lot to offer each other, says the organisers (Technology District for Tuscan Yachting and Marinas, Navigo, and Holland Yachting Group).

“Since yachting clusters are really important to the superyacht industry, a collaboration between shipyards, supply and service companies is surely advantageous in the development of technological innovation and the research of sustainable and low environmental impact solution, respecting customer needs and being competitive in the market.”

Shipyards already taking part in the superyacht cluster matching include Feadship, Tankoa Yachts, San Lorenzo, and Oceanco.

“Both Italy and the Netherlands have a big nautical history and today they have a crucial position in the international panorama, which places them at the top of superyacht industry – both in terms of yachts production per year and value. Both countries have a wide range of companies active in yachting: from design to engineering, from shipyards to suppliers and service providers,” says organisers.
