New online seminar series developed by MIN and GMBA

Marine Industry News is delighted to announce it will be running a series of online seminars, in conjunction with Global Marine Business Advisors (GMBA), entitled Export Insights.

The first Export Insights seminar, sponsored by PSP Logistics, will focus on France. It’s on 20th April, 14.00 BST. The hour online seminar is free to attend; register for Export Insights: France.

Export Insights: France will be presented by Jean-Michel Gaigné, who has been in the marine industry for over 40 years. He started his career as a sailing instructor, before honing his talents in race organising, running communications for BIC Sport (surfboards and watersports), and is now bringing his multiple talents to marina management. Gaigné is also the current chair of Trans Europe Marinas – an 85 strong network spanning EU and UK.

In the hour-long session, Gaigné will introduce the French boating market, give tips to exporting (for example the need to understand the specifics of the regions and how the Mediterranean and North of France need different approaches) and unpick the need for a dealer to help business run smoothly in France. He’ll look at the segmentation of the market, and the French marine media, as well as the effects of Brexit and his predictions for the future.
