SIBS to return in September

The Southampton International Boat Show (SIBS) is set return to Mayflower Park, Southampton 10-19 September.

The organiser, British Marine, says that a diverse range of leading international power and sail brands have already confirmed their attendance, including Sunseeker International, Princess Motor Yachts, Prestige Yachts, Sealine, Fjord, Jeanneau Sail & Power range, Beneteau Sail & Power range, Hanse, Dehler and Moody sailing yachts, and Privilège and Bali catamarans.

Confirmation of the event is welcome news to many manufacturers who have had limited opportunities to showcase their brands to the boat-buying public over the last 12 months.

“We are delighted to confirm our presence at the Southampton International Boat Show, ensuring our place in the British market once again,” says Luca Brancaleon, Groupe Beneteau deputy general manager.

“We are looking forward to renewing contact with our customers and introduce new models from some of our brands: Beneteau, Jeanneau and Prestige”.

James Stone, director of Inspiration Marine Group, adds: “We are delighted to be supporting the Southampton International Boat Show again this year with a significant display planned from our brand portfolio, including over 12 models from Hanse Yachts, Dehler Yachts, Moody Yachts, Fjord Motor Yachts, Privilège Catamarans and Bali Catamarans.”

“After trying times due to the pandemic, we are naturally thrilled to welcome back all businesses as we deliver the industry a much-awaited and anticipated show this September,” says Lesley Robinson, CEO of British Marine. “I know that many brands will be excited to have the opportunity to debut new models and showcase their product ranges to an audience again. It will be a welcome return to face-to-face business after such a long period without events.”
