What to expect at the British Motor Yacht Show

The British Motor Yacht Show is celebrating ten years of shows and its May event will bring a lineup of over 70 boats from over 40 brands to Premier Marinas Swanwick.

The boat show will run 11 to 14 May and is free to attend, but visitors need to register via the British Motor Yacht Show website.

On display will be a range of motorboats, dayboats and RIBs from a variety of international brands represented by their UK dealers including: Alva, Aquila, Axopar, Azimut, Bavaria, Beneteau, Bluegame, Brabus, Chris-Craft, Fairline, Fjord, Galeon, Greenline, Hinckley, Hylas, Jeanneau, Kawasaki watercraft, Nord Star, Pearl, Prestige, Premier Agapi Boat Club, Princess, Protector, Reborn, Regal, Ryck, Saxdor, Sealine, Sea Ray, Seaward, Setag, Sunseeker, Thanes Marine, Windy, Williams Jet Tenders, the first Wellcraft 355 in the UK, new Twisted tenders and SUR Marine luxury tenders.

Following its success in 2022, organisers say that this year will see the return of ‘late night Friday’ – where the show will remain open until 7pm, with live acoustic music and a DJ. Food and drink options will be available from The Boat House Café, the new Lobster Hatch, Salcombe Gin, ice-cream from Caravanilla and samples from Portsmouth Distillery.

There will also be exhibits of luxury cars from Rybrook Automotive, jewellery & watches from Laings, product demos and advice from Raymarine electronics, paddleboards from the SUP Company and advice from DMS marine stabilisation. Last year Premier Marinas, which owns the site, opened its new sales pavilion during the event.

The show is sponsored by Sevenstar Yacht Transport, CGI Finance and GY&LF.
