Zhik pushes design boundaries with low cut boots

Zhik’s lightweight Low Cut Ankle Boots are designed for high agility, grip and a responsive feel onboard a dinghy or paddle board.

The high grip, durable moulded rubber sole is said to give a confident and secure grip on wet decks or boards, making these an all-purpose boot for sailing and watersports.

They can be used with toe straps, foot straps or for trapezing. The foot is secured firmly in the boot with an adjustable strap, and a reinforced rubber heel and upper offer protection and support.

An inner neoprene ankle seal keeps out water and debris, which is useful if launching from shingle beaches or wading in waters with sea anemones. Quick drying and fast draining, the Low Cut Ankle Boots are ergonomically designed for a firm, close and comfortable fit.

Zhik’s new Split Toe Boots are designed for high agility and balance. The advantage of the split toe is the additional flexibility and stability they can give with the big toe working independently from the rest of the foot. This, it’s claimed, means feet are incredibly stable inside the boot.

The high grip, durable, moulded ZK rubber sole wraps around the sides of the foot for additional traction during athletic movement. Designed with a close, ergonomic fit for comfort and reduced foot movement, the neoprene ankle seal and adjustable strap help to further secure the foot and keep debris out.
