2022 IBEX Innovation Awards move online

The annual IBEX Industry Breakfast and Innovation Awards has transitioned to an online event, after this year’s IBEX show was cancelled due to Hurricane Ian.

The awards will now take place via Zoom on 20 October 2022, at 10.30 AM (ET).

The agenda for the event includes an opening speech by IBEX show director Anne Dunbar, followed by an industry address by National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) president Frank Hugelmeyer.

The Innovation Awards will then be presented by Zuzana Prochazka, the judging chair of Boating Writers International.

The Innovation Awards honour achievements in new product development in 15 areas of the marine industry. Categories include: Boat Care and Maintenance; Boatbuilding Methods and Materials; Boatyard and Marina Hardware and Software; Deck Equipment and Hardware; Electric Motor/Battery Powered Propulsion/Hybrids; Electrical Systems; Entertainment; Furnishings and Interior Parts; Inboard Engines; Mechanical Systems; OEM Electronics; Outboard Engines; Propulsion Parts, Propellers; Safety Equipment; and Trailers, Parts and Trailer Accessories.
