Promotion to Project Manager for Dan Whitelock at OYS

Dan Whitelock has had a promotion at OYS from Engineering Technician to Project Manager with immediate effect.

Dan joined OYS back in 2016, where he was hands-on, building thrusters and hydraulic cylinders including some of the largest vangs installed on superyachts. This valuable experience in the factory positions him well for the Project Management role with the practical knowledge of the tasks in hand, timescales involved, and an understanding of the processes and workings of the factory.

“I’m really looking forward to this challenge,” comments Dan. “I’ve really enjoyed the last three years here at OYS, however it was time to look at my career path and progression. When this opportunity came up, I jumped at the chance and was delighted when I was offered the role.”

OYS currently has Dan Wilkin as Project Manager for Thrusters and Hydraulics and Jon Briggs-Winn as Project Manager for Rigging. Dan will be working alongside both, with guidance and support from his colleagues.
