Absolute Yachts sets out next growth phase under new CEO Alessandro Tirelli

Absolute Yachts has appointed Alessandro Tirelli as chief executive officer, as the Piacenza-based shipyard enters a new phase of development focused on international growth and product evolution.

Tirelli has been leading the company since the beginning of 2026. His appointment follows a period of development for Absolute, which was strengthened in 2024 by the entry of private equity firm Wise Equity into the shipyard’s shareholding structure.

The company said the new leadership phase will build on Absolute’s existing industrial foundations and brand identity, while seeking to further strengthen its position in the international high-end yachting market.

Absolute said continuity will remain a key element of its strategy, with the experience of long-standing board members continuing to support the company’s development. Their knowledge of the shipyard and its products is expected to play a role as Absolute addresses its next stage of growth.

Among those highlighted by the company is Angelo Gobbi, who has played a significant role in the development of Absolute Yachts and the evolution of its product and brand identity.

The next phase will focus on consolidating Absolute’s position in international markets, with an emphasis on product development, brand positioning and engagement with key markets.

The shipyard said its strategy is intended to preserve the characteristics that have shaped Absolute Yachts while introducing a new expression of the brand as it enters its next stage of development.
