Bainbridge launches new outdoor fabrics
Bainbridge International has launched SolaTX – Technical Xtreme Outdoor Fabrics. This solution dyed fabric can be used in various applications and markets including marine covers, sail shades, awnings, automotive, tent and caravan, as well as equipment and outdoor furniture coverings.
SolaTX comes in a full width of 1.92m, reducing seam requirements. The fabric features a ribbed ottoman weave which is said to increase strength and mechanical resistance to tearing.
The fabric is manufactured from polyester using a solution dying process and is PU-coated with a fluorocarbon+ finish, making it more durable in the exterior environment. Key features include high breathability, water tightness, high UV and tear resistance. The lightweight product is also easy to handle and stow in tight locations.
The SolaTX is available in 12 colours: navy blue, pacific blue, black, white, cadet grey, charcoal grey, sliver, ivory, sahara, beige, true red and forest green.
