Fairline Yachts announces extended warranty
British boatbuilder, Fairline Yachts, has extended its standard manufacturer’s warranty from one to two years.
Applicable to any new boat purchased from Fairline’s global dealer network between 1 January 2020 and 31 August 2020, this initiative is in direct response to the Covid-19 global pandemic during which time many owners are unable to use their boats.
“We want to show our support to both our customers and our dealers, and we are very mindful that Fairline owners can’t enjoy being out on the water in their new boat at the moment,” says Dennis de Roos, Sales & Marketing Director.
“We wanted to offer additional peace of mind that this period of global restrictions won’t be unfairly reducing our customers’ warranty period during a time where boats are unable to be used. Our customers don’t need to do anything, the extended warranty will be applied automatically to every new Fairline purchased from our dealer network from the start of the year to 31 August 2020. It’s a good-will gesture that we are pleased to make to offer some additional peace of mind to our Fairline family.”
Fairline Yachts has continued to manufacture boats in its Oundle, UK headquarters, operating with a skeleton workforce and enhanced health and safety measures, completing ten builds in March and April, and the boatyard is on schedule to complete a further five in May.
