Dream Yacht Charter to reopen UK base in Port Hamble

Dream Yacht Charter’s UK base in Port Hamble is preparing to welcome guests in line with new guidelines, which suggest bareboat yacht charters may be possible from early July.

Sailors will be able to select from the UK fleet of 20 monohulls ranging in length from 37 to 46 feet, all available for day charters in one of the UK’s premier sailing areas. Last week, the base welcomed back its Dufour 460GL, Oarsome Dream, which has spent the last seven-months in Antigua enjoying the Caribbean sailing season. In addition, Port Hamble is also home to a Merry Fisher 795 and a Zodiac Open 7 RIB for motorboat enthusiasts.

To ensure guest safety, Dream Yacht Charter has implemented additional measures for check-in, boat cleaning and onboard hygiene, and will continue to monitor government advice.

Worldwide, Dream Yacht Charter now operates 1,250+ boats in 60+ destinations, offering bareboat, skippered, luxury crewed and by the cabin charters. The company recently announced new bases in the US Virgin Islands and La Spezia, Italy which are due to open this summer. New bases announced in 2019 included Tenerife, Panama, Stavanger in Norway, La Paz in Brazil and Lake Champlain and Newport Rhode Island in the States, offering wider cruising options for sailors wanting to explore further afield.
