Final call for DAME Design Award entries

METSTRADE Show organiser RAI Amsterdam is calling on exhibitors to submit their most innovative designs for the DAME (Design Award METSTRADE) by September 19, 2017.

Now in its 27th year, the DAME Design Award will be presented as part of METSTRADE’s traditional Breakfast Briefing opening ceremony on Tuesday, November 14 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre.

In addition to hearing a keynote speech by Brunswick CEO Mark Schwabero, guests will see which exhibitors have most impressed the DAME panel of naval architects, boat, interior & industrial designers, and consumer experts.

Entries can be made via a dedicated online portal and all registration fees are donated by the RAI to a charity. This year’s proceeds will go to a joint initiative between the Sailing Kids Foundation (SK) and the Dutch Childhood Cancer Parent Organisation (VOKK).

The DAME Design Award was launched in 1991 to promote design across all disciplines and recognise the best-designed products at the METSTRADE Show. It is judged in seven key product categories.

Interested exhibitors wanting to submit their most innovative designs for a 2017 DAME Award should visit www.metstrade.com. Participation is open to manufacturers and authorised suppliers who are registered as exhibitors or co-exhibitors at the METSTRADE Show.

Last year’s winner of the DAME Award was Torqeedo GmbH for its Cruise FP models.

September 19 is the last day to enter the METSTRADE 2017 DAME Awards
