Henri-Lloyd grows its international distributor network
British sailing and waterproof clothing brand Henri-Lloyd has appointed a range of new international distributors in key countries.
These include Mauri Pro Sailing LLC, an exclusive distributor for North America, South America and the Caribbean, with CK Hulo Pty Ltd appointed for Australia and New Zealand. In Europe, Nautilus SA has been appointed for Greece and Cyprus, with Seastyle AS covering Norway, Equipyacht SL covering Spain and Portugal and Sailforce appointed for the UK and Ireland.
The news comes after the launch of Henri-Lloyd’s yachting and boating range at METSTRADE in November 2023.
“We had a number of very useful meetings at METSTRADE and have now confirmed exclusive arrangements for a number of key territories,” says James Tinkler, international sales manager at Henri-Lloyd. “With such an exciting and extensive new yachting and boating collection being launched, we want to make it easy for customers to work with us. International support from well-known and well-established distributors is part of that strategy.”
With a heritage spanning seven decades, the firm says its new collections reflect founder Henri Strzelecki’s love of sailing, designing garments designed to keep people safe and dry.
Tinkler says that the company is continuing to look for international distributors in new territories.
“We want to appoint Henri-Lloyd distributors for Sweden and Denmark, as well as in central Europe, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. Customer interest and feedback from METSTRADE was extremely positive, and we’re now looking for the right distribution companies to contact us from these countries,” he says.
Earlier this month (January 2024), Nautor Swan and Henri-Lloyd joined forces in a new collaboration, bringing together their ‘iconic heritages’ to merge ‘cutting-edge technology with a shared passion for being on the water’. As such, Henri-Lloyd will be the official sportswear partner for Nautor Swan and ClubSwan’s sailing ventures.
