Last few days to nominate Boat Builder Awards 2017

The deadline for nominations for the third Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement in association with Raymarine, organised jointly by IBI and METSTRADE, is 22 September. So there is still time to have your say on who should win one of the eight prestigious award categories.

The awards, held on November 15 in the courtyard of the historic National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, have cemented themselves as one of the industry’s premier gala events. Last year’s awards saw a number of British Marine member companies honoured, including Berthon Boats, Sunseeker International, Pendennis Shipyard and Lewmar Ltd. Robert Braithwaite CBE, Founder of Sunseeker International, also picked up the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Nominations can be entered via a quick and simple-to-use online nomination page onwww.boatbuilderawards.com. Entries should be as specific as possible and nominators should upload only relevant information to aid the judging process. If in doubt about an element of the nomination process or what material to upload to support the nomination, Ed Slack (Chair) can be contacted: ed@ibiplus.co.uk.

Shortlisted entries will be invited to attend what promises to be another spectacular evening. Tickets are on sale now at Boatbuilderawards.com.

The eight award categories are:

• Retail Marketing Initiative (sponsorship opportunity still available)
• Boat Builder International Distributor/Dealer Development, sponsored by Lumishore
• Boat Builder and Equipment Manufacturer, sponsored by Ultraflex
• Innovative Onboard Design Solution, sponsored by Fusion
• Innovation in a Production Process, sponsored by Dometic
