New roles for David Payne and Chris Baker at Fischer Panda UK
Fischer Panda has appointed David Payne as business development director and Chris Baker as operations and technical director, effective from 1st January 2021.
The new senior roles for the two already within the company come in line with the company’s restructuring.
Payne, an indentured mechanical engineer and hybrid diesel and electric power systems specialist, moves to his new role following three years as technical sales manager for the company. With 25 years’ experience in the marine and automotive industries, Payne has established expertise in developing and customising innovative and cost-effective hybrid and electric solutions for both vessels and specialist vehicles.
Currently leading the growing engineering team and controlling the operations side of the business, engineering manager Baker has been central to assisting Fischer Panda UK’s growth over the last 24 years, amassing a depth of technical skill in the field.
In addition to electric solutions, Payne and Baker will also lead the technical progression of Fischer Panda projects and systems integration for its diesel generators, Mastervolt power systems, Sea Recovery water purification, Dometic climate control, and CZone digital monitoring.
