The RYA Dinghy Show will become the RYA Dinghy and Watersports Show from 2022.

When it opens at Farnborough International for the first time over the weekend of 26-27 February, the show, sponsored by Suzuki, will showcase a range of watersports alongside the traditional dinghy sailing exhibitors, talks and features.

“For many of us our time afloat has been extra valuable over the past two years so we’re really excited to be able to once again dedicate a live show to having a good time on the water whether dinghy cruising, racing, windsurfing, paddleboarding or any of the other ways you can get afloat,” says RYA director of sport development, Rob Clark.

“The new venue and growth in participation of all watersports has presented us with an opportunity to bring the industry together to offer a bigger show, with even more adventures and activities for the cost of a ticket. We also want to reflect the fantastic multisport activities offered by our affiliated clubs, centres and organisations.”

Along with the new additions, the 2022 Show will present hands-on dinghy displays and demos, the latest in kit and gear, interactive workshops, coaching sessions and eSailing. World class speakers will also provide expert advice across three stages, and Virtual Dinghy Show host Hannah Diamond will appear live when she teams up with instructor and presenter Lee Timothy to host the 2022 show.

“The Dinghy and Watersports Show is organised by the RYA to benefit the sport and industry by bringing together the community and inspiring people to get afloat. We’d like to thank our exhibitors and sponsor for supporting us to create a covid safe show and look forward to sharing some exciting new features over the next few weeks,” adds Clark. Tickets for the RYA Dinghy & Watersports Show will go on sale at the end of October
