The new Dufour 390 and 430 Grand Large on show at Boot-Dusseldorf 2019

Dufour Yachts will be exhibiting the new Dufour 390 and 430 Grand Large, together with the 360GL, 460GL and 520GL at the Boot Dusseldorf, 19-27 January 2019 (hall 16 – stand B37).

The Dufour 430GL is the second boat to be released under the new third generation Grand Large designs, from Italian designer Umberto Felci. It includes many new styling and design enhancements, creating a yacht that offers a real balance between sailing performance and comfortable living space, both above and below decks.

The new 3.0 generation hull design has a softened and raised bilge strake and  more pronounced chines for additional sailing performance and stability.  The deck design includes a slightly increased coachroof height, creating more interior space and room on deck, whilst keeping the customary wide Dufour side decks.

The wide coachroof also enables a full width mainsheet traveller to be fitted, and a full deck cover sits over the halyards, giving a clean and flush layout.

Your sense of security whilst afloat is enhanced by the slightly higher, enclosed cockpit. Whilst new steering columns with integrated instrument consoles improve space to move freely around the cockpit.

The aft cockpit features a wider helmsman’s seat above the optional exterior galley and BBQ, which is regularly fitted to the other Dufour Grand Large models.  Telescopic tender davits tuck away when out of use, and a new integrated swimming ladder is fitted to the wide drop-down transom and swim platform. With extended, robust grab handles it aids climbing aboard from the water or from a tender.

Below decks the 430GL offer two interior layouts. The three cabin layout has an open forward galley, as featured in the larger prestige Dufours, plus two showers/heads. Alternatively, you can opt for four proper sized cabins with two showers/heads, which is exceptional for a 43’ yacht.

Dufour’s bright light interior is maintained throughout, and a new shaped Perspex deck panel floods more natural light into the forward cabin. There’s a choice of moabi, oak or teak interior solid wood finishes, to go alongside the improved headlining and parquet-style flooring.

A dedicated navigation table includes a new electrical panel set up for modern connectivity requirements. USB sockets feature as standard throughout the yacht, plus the 5” touch screen panel provides clear information including GPS position, battery status, data on fuel, water tanks, temperature and power. LED lighting and a 40 litre hot water tank are also included as standard fixtures.

Base price from €189.589 ex VAT. On water prices subject to specification and package options.
