With Italy a few weeks ahead of the UK in experiencing the pandemic, what can we learn from them?

“We’re working in structured manner,” says Ian Stevenson, Osculati (marine accessories), of his Milan office. 

“More than half of our workers are working remotely. We’ve got a rotation coming into manage shipping and office work. All employees are staying 2m apart, wearing medical masks and using sanitiser products.

“Our logistics and warehouse teams are working double shifts to make sure we continue shipping and supporting the industry. We limit individuals being together and perform a through daily disinfection. Plus, every weekend we have a massive sanitation process in place to keep our staff, and systems safe.”
