European boat market ahead of Cannes

Ancasta reports a strong and resilient market for boat sales across Europe, a trend that it anticipates will be showcased at the upcoming Cannes Yachting Festival. Reporting to MIN, the boat dealer says that despite global economic uncertainties, the appetite for yachting and marine leisure has remained robust, driven by a renewed focus on lifestyle and quality of life.

This is particularly evident in the growing demand for both new and brokerage yachts, with high levels of interest from first-time buyers and seasoned sailors alike.

According to Ancasta, innovation in design, sustainable technologies and advanced marine systems are key factors fuelling this demand, as buyers seek modern vessels that combine performance, luxury, and environmental responsibility.

Ancasta has also observed a rise in interest in multihulls, reflecting a shift towards more versatile and spacious vessels that cater to family and adventure-oriented cruising, with debut models from its Lagoon, McConaghy, Bluegame and Prestige brands anticipated to prove a hit at the upcoming shows across Europe.

Sanlorenzo – world debuts

Sanlorenzo SL86A

Making its world debut, the SL86A expands Sanlorenzo’s Asymmetric range. This bold approach to the traditional design of a yacht of this size sees the port side deck moved up a level, substantially increasing the interior volume and the connection to the sea through the floor-to-ceiling windows.  A redesigned stern section allows for a garage that can accommodate a Williams tender and jet ski.

Sanlorenzo SP92

The SP92 is the second boat in Sanlorenzo’s Smart Performance SP line. Also on show will be the award-winning SP110, the first model from the SP line (launched at Cannes in 2022). Sanlorenzo’s SP110 received the prestigious Compasso d’Oro 2024 design award.

Ancasta will also have the following Sanlorenzo models on display at Cannes:  SL96A, SL120A, SX76, SX88, SX100, SD90, and SD118.
