Jeff Bezos’ superyacht spotted for first time at shipyard?

Jeff Bezos' $500m superyacht Koru leaving shipyard at night

The 417ft mega-yacht was glimpsed in a first appearance at a Netherlands shipyard – and will be the world’s biggest when it’s finally completed next year, with three masts and decks.

Referred to as Y721, the immense vessel was pictured at the Zwijndrecht shipyard in the western Netherlands, according to the Daily Star.

It’s still being kept officially secret whether the new ship is actually a commissioned order by Bezos himself.

Despite the revelation appearing in unauthorised biography Amazon Unbound, manufacturer Oceanco remains tight-lipped on who the owner of its flagship vessel will be, saying: “Oceanco values the privacy and confidentiality of all our clients and prospective clients and therefore does not comment on our involvement or non-involvement in specific projects.”
